🚀 We are in the middle of an AI gold rush.
Everywhere I look, companies are either building AI tools, experimenting with products, or scrambling to “do something with AI.” But just like any gold rush, the roles are not all the same:
🔨 Shovel Sellers – the infrastructure builders: Nvidia, AWS, Databricks. They provide the GPUs, cloud, and data platforms powering AI.
⛏️ Gold Miners – the product creators: startups and enterprises building chatbots, SaaS apps, and AI-driven customer tools. Some will strike it big, but many will burn out.
🏗️ Town Builders – the ones who make sure adoption actually works. They help businesses migrate to the cloud, modernise data pipelines, adopt DevOps, and govern AI responsibly. Without them, the “gold rush” collapses into hype.
